Happy New Year!
We just wanted to thank you for your help in arranging another family fun Christmas trip. The Iberostar Rose Hall Suites was fabulous. The staff were incredibly nice and the place was spotless.
There seemed to be almost as many staff as vacationers. The only draw back would be if your clients were beach walkers because the beach is only about 10 minutes from one end to the other. We enjoyed the spa, gym and numerous activities. The food was the best yet; the whole family preferred it over Cuba, Mexico and Dominican.
We managed 2 off site activities. We hired a private cab to take us in his 12 seater van on a 3 hour tour. It was very informative and great to see the local churches, housing, sugar cane fields etc. We also did the "cool runnings" excursion which included a bus ride to ocho rios, a catarman to go snorkling and then more sailing to get to Dunn's River Falls and climb the falls. This trip was a big hit ..but not sure I would recommend it to the older crowd as it was quite a "party" on the boat!
Maureens family had a difficult time getting back home - they pretty much spent 2 days at the airport due to mechanical problems on the plane. I just hope they are home by now!
